The graduate program in Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the University of California at San Francisco represents one of the largest academic research centers concerned with drug discovery, development, and application. Research groups in the program apply physical, chemical, biological, pharmacological, and toxicological principles to design, delivery, and application of drugs and biomolecules, leading to novel therapies. Information is available on the programs AMBER (molecular dynamics), DOCK (ligand docking), and MidasPlus (molecular graphics), as well as other protein modeling software.
